Before app-store submission, replace the contact details below with live inboxes and have this policy reviewed for your launch countries and children's privacy requirements.
Who we are
Tween Bible provides guided Bible study lessons for tweens, parents, teachers, and class-code student accounts. Contact: privacy@tweenbible.com.
Information we collect
- Mobile login details for parent or teacher accounts, including country code and mobile number.
- First name and last name for account display and student identification.
- Student account details created by a parent or teacher, including class code, student name, group name, and PIN authentication data.
- Reading progress, assignments, completed units and chapters, page progress, study time, login time, and related timestamps.
- Technical information needed to run the service, such as IP address, browser/device type, session token, and security logs.
How we use information
- To authenticate users with OTP or class-code login.
- To show the correct Bible lesson, language, font size, assignment, and reading progress.
- To let parents and teachers create students, assign readings, and review progress.
- To secure the app, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain the service.
Service providers
Tween Bible uses hosting/database services, MSG91 for OTP verification, and a country lookup service to suggest a country code. These providers process information only as needed to provide the app. Do not send private MSG91 keys to any reviewer or user.
Children's information
Student accounts are intended to be created and managed by a parent or teacher. The app stores student reading progress so the parent or teacher can support learning. Do not create student accounts unless you have the authority and consent required in your country.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that operate the app, when required by law, or when needed to protect users and the service.
Retention and deletion
Reading and account data is kept while the account is active. Parent or teacher users can delete their account from the app. Deletion removes the mobile account, student accounts, assignments, reading progress, study-time records, and active sessions. See Account Deletion.
Security
We use HTTPS, authenticated API requests, server-side OTP verification, access controls, and database separation between parent and student records. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to protect account and progress data.
